Gas Capacitor

MKK400-D-15-01 is a three-phase film capacitor from the EPCOS/TDK PhaseCap® Premium series, designed for power factor correction (PFC) in industrial and commercial electrical systems. 

It is rated for 15 kvar output at 400 V AC, with a rated frequency of 50/60 Hz and a delta (D) connection. 

The capacitor features self-healing metallized polypropylene film technology, gas-impregnated construction, and a triple safety system for enhanced reliability and longevity. 

It is housed in a compact cylindrical aluminum can with a threaded M12 bolt for mounting, suitable for indoor installation, and is maintenance-free. 

The device offers high inrush current withstand capability (up to 300 times rated current), complies with IEC and UL standards, and is commonly used in capacitor banks, automatic PFC equipment, and power quality improvement systems.
