Description:
Janitza UMG 507 L is a universal measuring device (power analyser) designed for the measurement, monitoring, and recording of electrical parameters in low-voltage switchgear and distribution systems.
Key Features:
Measurement Functions: Measures voltage, current, power (active, reactive, apparent), frequency, power factor, energy, and more in three-phase systems (with or without neutral).
Continuous Monitoring: Voltage and current inputs are continuously scanned, reliably detecting even brief interruptions (down to half a wave).
Memory: Built-in memory for saving measured values; up to 16,000 data records with 4 MB flash memory.
Interfaces: RS485 (Modbus RTU), optional Profibus, digital and analogue inputs/outputs for integration with energy management systems.
Current Transformers: Supports ../1A and ../5A CTs for flexible connection in both low- and medium/high-voltage systems (via VT/CT).
Display: Local LCD display for real-time measured values and device status.
Measurement Ranges:
Voltage L-N: 50–500 V AC (max. 550 V)
Voltage L-L: 90–870 V AC (max. 950 V)
Current: via CTs, up to 6 A continuous, 60 A for 1 second
Frequency: 45–65 Hz
Accuracy: Class 0.5S or 1 (depending on measured value)
Supply Voltage: 115–277 V AC (single-phase), 80–277 V AC (three-phase), 50/60 Hz; device is powered from the measured voltage.
Power Consumption: Max. 1.5 VA
Installation: Panel mount; suitable for permanent installation in any position in low and medium-voltage switchgear.
Protection: IP20, operating temperature -10°C to +55°C, storage -20°C to +70°C, 0–2000 m altitude
Dimensions: Approx. 850 g; connectable conductors 0.08–2.5 mm²
Applications:
Energy management and monitoring
Power quality analysis
Industrial, commercial, and utility power distribution
Integration into building management systems
