Description:

Janitza UMG 96L is a universal digital measuring device designed for measurement and storage of electrical parameters in three-phase systems (with or without neutral) in 50/60 Hz networks. The 100 V version is intended for use with voltage transformers, making it suitable for medium-voltage applications.

Key Features:

  • Measurement Functions: Measures and digitises effective values of voltage and current, active power (kW), reactive power (kVar), apparent power (kVA), power factor (cos φ), frequency, and energy (kWh, kVarh), displaying maximum and minimum values.

  • Voltage Range:

    • Standard version: 196–255 V L-N, 340–442 V L-L

    • Special version (including 100 V): 90–160 V L-N, 156–277 V L-L (for use with VT; primary voltage up to 60 kV can be programmed)

  • Current Measurement: Via external current transformers (CTs), typically ../5A or ../1A

  • Frequency: 45–65 Hz

  • Display: LCD, programmable display for all measured values, including primary and secondary voltage (when used with VT)

  • Memory: Stores energy, minimum, and maximum values every 15 minutes; non-volatile EEPROM for programmed data

  • Sampling Rate: 2.5 kHz at 50 Hz, 3.0 kHz at 60 Hz

  • Power Supply: Powered from measured voltage (L1-N)

  • Mounting: Panel mount (96 × 96 mm), optional DIN rail with kit

  • Protection: Front: IP50 (IP65 with seal), Rear: IP20

  • Operating Temperature: -10°C to +55°C; Storage: -20°C to +70°C

  • Humidity: 15% to 95% (non-condensing)

  • Applications:

    • Replacement for multiple analogue instruments (ammeter, voltmeter, power meter, frequency meter, etc.)

    • Suitable for low- and medium-voltage distribution boards

    • Energy monitoring, load analysis, and power quality monitoring
