Resin Capacitor

MKP400-D-25-01 is a three-phase film capacitor from the TDK/EPCOS PhiCap series, specifically designed for power factor correction (PFC) in industrial and commercial electrical systems. 

It is rated for 25 kvar output at 400 V AC (30 kvar at 60 Hz), with a delta (D) connection. 

The capacitor features self-healing metallized polypropylene film (MKP) dielectric, semi-dry biodegradable resin impregnation, and an extruded aluminum can with a threaded M12 bolt for mounting. It includes a ceramic discharge module and is suitable for indoor installation in any position. 

The device is maintenance-free, offers high pulse current withstand capability, and complies with IEC 60831-1/2 standards. Typical applications include capacitor banks and automatic PFC equipment for improved energy efficiency and power quality.
