Resin Capacitor

MKP400-D-15-01 is a three-phase film capacitor from the TDK/EPCOS PhiCap series, designed for power factor correction (PFC) in industrial and commercial electrical systems. 

It is rated for 15 kvar output at 400 V AC (18 kvar at 60 Hz), with a delta (D) connection. The capacitor features self-healing metallized polypropylene film (MKP) dielectric, non-PCB, semi-dry biodegradable resin impregnation, and an extruded round aluminum can with a threaded stud for mounting. 

It includes a ceramic discharge module and triple safety system for enhanced reliability. The device is suitable for indoor installation, is maintenance-free, and complies with relevant standards such as IEC 60831-1/2. 

Typical applications include capacitor banks and automatic PFC equipment for improved energy efficiency and power quality.
